Qualifying Employment Requirements of the Fellowship
What is 'qualifying employment'?
The Fellowship recognises that many of its members may work as sole practitioners and therefore, qualifying employment may be any of the following:
• Employment gained via self-employment in the field of willwriting or probate practice, provided that clear records and evidence to support the amount of qualifying employment can be demonstrated. A log book or similar documentation will need to be kept that clearly demonstrates the required breadth of work has been undertaken and that work-based learning outcomes have been met.
• Employment within a solicitors firm undertaking work in the field of willwriting or probate practice.
• Employment by a public authority in the field of willwriting or probate practice.
• Employment within a willwriting or probate practice.
• Employment in a private company or legal department undertaking willwriting or probate practice.
