CPD Requirements of the Fellowship
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the means by which members of the Fellowship maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge and skills and develop the personal qualities required in their professional lives.
By joining the Fellowship, you will start on a journey which will improve your professional competence in will writing and/or probate practice. You will be making a commitment to be professional, to keep up to date in terms of your knowledge and skills, and to enable yourself to continuously improve. This is the recipe for enhancing your career opportunities.
Your Commitment:
Affiliate Member - if practising CPD will commence at a required 10 hours per year to consist of 3 hours directed and 7 hours home study.
Associate Member - CPD will increase to 12 hours per year to consist of 6 hours directed and 6 hours home study.
Member - CPD required at 16 hours per year at least 12 of which must be directed.
Fellow - CPD required at 16 hours per year at least 12 of which must be directed.
Our Commitment:
The Fellowship will provide advice and guidance on appropriate CPD training and will provide opportunities for members to attend or take part in directed CPD activities.
CPD will be flexible to meet the needs of its members and will be available at a reasonable cost.
